Duke entered tonight's contest at N.C. State on a seven-game winning streak. The Blue Devils hadn't lost since a Jan. 19 game at Louisville. That changed this evening.

Coach K's team was blown out on the road. Duke was crushed by N.C. State, 88-66, falling to 22-4 on the season and 12-3 in the conference.

The loss is a big one as far as the ACC championship race is concerned. Duke is now tied with Louisville and Florida State in the loss column at three.

N.C. State, meanwhile, improves to 17-9 on the season, 8-7 in the ACC. This win is huge for the Wolfpack's NCAA Tournament resume.

Tonight's game was not close from the start. N.C. State led by 15 points at halftime and quickly increased that lead to 20-plus points in the second half.

Duke will look to bounce back on Saturday.

The Blue Devils will host Virginia Tech at 8 p.m. E.T.

The game will be on ESPN.
