On Tuesday night, Dwyane Wade made his final appearance in front of the Miami Heat fans at AmericanAirlines Arena.
After 16 NBA seasons, Wade revealed his plans to walk away from the game following the 2018-19 campaign. The Heat were eliminated from playoff contention earlier this week, but that didn't matter to fans on Tuesday night.
They just wanted a chance to show their love for the player that brought them three championships.
Before the game tipped off, Wade saw one last introduction in front of the home crowd.
Miami employed the help of Wade's eldest son, Zaire, to give him a final farewell.

The 13-time All-Star walks away from the game as one of the best players at his position in NBA history and one of the best defensive players in the game.
Although the Heat didn't achieve what they wanted this season, Wade goes out as a three-time NBA champion.
Marquette retired Wade's jersey after he led the team to a Final Four appearance in the 2002-03 season. It's only a matter of time before the Heat follow suit and retire Wade's No. 3 jersey.
