The Arizona Cardinals fired head coach Steve Wilks following one season with the team in 2018. The franchise replaced him with Kliff Kingsbury.

Could another NFL head coach be fired after one season in 2018? An ESPN analyst seems to think one should.

ESPN analyst Damien Woody is not impressed with New York Jets head coach Adam Gase.

The Jets are 1-5 and are currently losing to the Jaguars today.

Woody is not seeing any improvement from the Jets in Year 1 of the Gase era. In fact, New York is looking worse.

It would be surprising if Gase was let go after just one season, but as Woody points out, it's not like it hasn't happened before.

If New York loses today, the Jets will be 1-6 on the season. Gase's team does play at Miami next Sunday, so they should be able to win that one.
