The New England Patriots are set to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in arguably the most-anticipated game of the NFL’s 2021 regular season on Sunday night.
It’s the return for Tom Brady.
Brady, who won six Super Bowls in two decades for the Patriots, is making his return to New England on Sunday night. The legendary quarterback left the Patriots for the Buccaneers in free agency in 2020, signing a two-year contract for $50 million.
The Buccaneers went on to win the Super Bowl in Year 1 with Brady. The Patriots, meanwhile, missed out on the playoffs.
Tampa Bay is favored to defeat New England on Sunday night, though ESPN’s computer model, the Football Power Index, believes the Patriots have a shot.
According to ESPN’s computer model, the Buccaneers have a 56.6 percent chance of winning on Sunday night, while the Patriots have a 43.1 percent chance at the upset.
Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. E.T. on Sunday night.
The game will air on NBC.
