The first round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament begins today, with games tipping off shortly after noon E.T.

There will be 16 games today, 16 more on Friday and then 16 over the course of the weekend in the second round.

You need to win six games in a row to win the NCAA Tournament, of course.

How many teams have the potential to do this?

According to ESPN's experts, there are six legitimate national title contenders. ESPN had 29 college basketball analysts predict the tournament. In total, there were six teams who received national title picks.

Those six teams:

  1. Duke (15 picks)
  2. Gonzaga (5)
  3. Virginia (4)
  4. North Carolina (3)
  5. Kentucky (1)
  6. Michigan State (1)

You can view all of ESPN's picks here.

Minnesota and Louisville are the first teams to tip off today, with their game going off at 12:15 p.m. E.T.

It'll be on CBS.
