On Wednesday morning, ESPN revealed a list of predictions for the top NBA free agents - including where Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Kawhi Leonard will sign in free agency.

During the 2018-19 season, the New York Knicks emerged as the favorite to land both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. However, after Durant suffered a ruptured Achilles and Irving begin being linked to Brooklyn, the Knicks found themselves on the outside looking in.

ESPN predicted neither KD nor Irving will sign with the Knicks.

So, where will Durant play next season? The majority of ESPN's panel of experts think he'll stay with the Golden State Warriors.

Here are the results:

1. Golden State Warriors

40.0

T2. Brooklyn Nets

30.0

T2. New York Knicks

30.0

Both the Nets and Knicks are still in play, according to ESPN's predictions.

The Nets have the cap space to sign both Kyrie and KD, though earlier reports suggested Durant wants to play for the Knicks - if he signs with any New York area team.

He could also choose to do a sign-and-trade. If Durant signs an extension with Golden State, the Warriors could then trade him to the Knicks, or another team.

That would give Durant guaranteed money after suffering a ruptured Achilles and give the Warriors something in return for losing a star player.
