The Atlanta Falcons signed long snapper Liam McCullough to a one-year deal on Wednesday.

McCullough played all but one game for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2016 to 2019. Per his school bio page, he didn't make a single errant snap in 577 attempts.

The Columbus native was one of only two long snappers to ever receive a scholarship offer from the prestigious Big Ten football program.

After graduating, McCullough signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent. They released him during the preseason, giving him time to find another landing spot in Pittsburgh. However, the Steelers also cut him before the 2020 season began.

McCullough will attempt to play in his first NFL game. Before doing so, the 24-year-old must compete with former Tennessee Titans veteran Beau Brinkley for the job. The 32-year-old played only three games for the Arizona Cardinals last season.
