Golf's major tournaments wrapped up with the PGA Championship earlier this month. The PGA saw Tiger Woods card his best finish at a major since he won his 14th title in 2008.
Although the majors are in the rear-view, there are still a few significant tournaments left to play. The FedEx Cup Playoffs kicked off earlier this week as the best players in the world flocked to New Jersey for the National Trust.
Tiger and company took to the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, Nj., for the opening leg of the playoffs. The crowds frequent whatever hole Woods is on at the time and wait for him to tee off.
During the tournament on Friday, one fan grew to some internet fame when he yelled "funding secured" after Woods teed off from No. 15.
The phrase grew to popularity after Elon Musk tweeted "funding secured" in relation to his company, Tesla. Musk is attempting to take Tesla private, but needs a significant amount of capital in order to do so.
Since he tweeted "funding secured," it turns out Musk does not have the proper funding - but we'll digress.
Meanwhile, Tiger sits right on the cutline at one-under with two holes to play.
