Tiger Woods is eyeing an appearance at the 2022 PGA Championship and the golf world couldn't be more excited.

On Thursday, video of Tiger scouting Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma surfaced on social media. Just a couple weeks removed from his incredible competitive golf comeback at the 2022 Masters, the all-time great is back swinging the club.

Take a look at the video here:

The golf world took to Twitter to react to this encouraging footage. "Love that he placed all his weight square in the right leg at the end there," one fan noted. "Beautiful shot of Turkey Mountain accompanied by a nice swing from Tiger Woods," another added.

Just over a year after sustaining major leg injuries in a car crash, Tiger made his return to competitive golf at Augusta National earlier this month. The 46-year-old golfer played all four rounds, but was clearly in some serious pain by the end of the week.

“I won’t be playing a full schedule ever again. It’ll be just the big events,” Tiger explained after his final round. “I don’t know if I’ll play Southern Hills or not… I will try. There’s no doubt. I will try to get ready for Southern Hills and see what this body is able to do.”

Tiger was listed as a member of the tournament field in a release from the PGA Championship earlier this week. The event will begin on Thursday, May 19.
