The Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors have established a budding rivalry over the last couple of seasons. Now, even the team's coaching staffs and front offices are getting involved.

Houston expressed plenty of disapproval with the officiating in their Game 1 loss to the Warriors on Sunday. That led to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr taking a jab at the Rockets during his meeting with reporters today.

Kerr jokingly "flopped" on a reporter before his press conference and said it was a foul, poking fun at Houston's penchant for trying to draw contact and foul calls.

Now, Rockets general manager Daryl Morey has fired back, using Kerr's own words from the past against him. Morey retweeted a Bleacher Report article from 2016 chronicling Kerr being fined for criticizing the officiating during an early-season game.

Yup, things are definitely heating up in this series.

Game 2 tomorrow night at Oracle should be interesting.
