It has been a rough night for Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Chris Conte. He had an embarrassing play early in the game and now will miss the rest of the action with an injury.
Conte was stiff-armed into another county by Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Vance McDonald on a 75-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter. It was a play that will live on in infamy for years on the internet and highlight reels.
Here's the damage.
To add injury to insult, Conte has been declared out for the remainder of the game with an unspecified knee injury.
As you can imagine, everyone is making the same joke, saying that Conte is out of the game with injured pride rather than a hurt knee. We can't blame them for saying it, even if it isn't true.

Pittsburgh leads Tampa Bay 16-7 in the second quarter.
