This isn’t what you want if you’re the Philadelphia Eagles. Quarterback Nick Foles was shaken up in the first half of tonight’s preseason game against the New England Patriots.
The last time Foles took the field against New England, he was leading the Eagles to a win in the Super Bowl. He’ll have less than happy memories of tonight’s game.
Foles went to the medical tent briefly after injuring his shoulder on this strip sack.

Officially, Foles has been diagnosed with a shoulder strain. He’s questionable to return, but we doubt he will.

Foles will undoubtedly have more tests on his shoulder after the game. Philly could ill afford to lose him.
If Carson Wentz’s knee is good to go, he will be Philly’s starting quarterback in Week 1. But if it isn’t, Foles is a reliable backup, as he proved last year.
We will update you on Foles’ status when more info comes out.
