Ja Morant's unreal athleticism has captured the hearts of basketball fans everywhere. And on Tuesday night, that athleticism was on full display.
On one of the final plays of the third quarter during Tuesday night's Game 5 matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the high-flying Memphis Grizzlies guard took the ball down the lane and threw down a ridiculous tomahawk jam.
Taking off from well beyond the restricted area, Morant went full extension before throwing down the one-handed slam all over Minnesota guard Malik Beasley.
Fans from around the NBA world were blown away by this show-stopping dunk.
"JA MORANT ISN'T HUMAN," one wrote.
"@MEM_PoliceDept are you sure you can’t arrest him for murder? #GrindCity," another asked.
"OH MY GOOD GOD JA MORANT CLEAR THE RUNWAY OR DIE," NBA analyst Rob Perez wrote.
Every angle of this incredible jam was plastered all over social media.
This dunk served as a major turning point in tonight's game. Down 13 at the time of the play, this spark-plug helped the Grizzlies battle back in the fourth quarter to claim their first second-half lead.
In pure superstar fashion, Morant finished off the game with a stunning game-winning layup.
The Grizzlies now lead the series 3-2 heading into Game 6.
