Video: Jay Wright's First Pitch At Villanova Game Wasn't Great

Jay Wright is one of the best basketball coaches in the country. He's led Villanova to national championships (2016, '18), after all.

The 57-year-old head coach doesn't appear to have a great arm, though.

Wright threw out the first pitch at a Villanova baseball game this week.

"A great day at the Villanova ball park . My apologies to our catcher, Will, for bouncing it up there!" he tweeted.

Villanova fans likely won't hold this against their elite head coach, though. Wright threw out this first pitch just days after a report surfaced claiming UCLA had offered to double his salary to coach the Bruins. He still said no.

Wright can bounce as many first pitches as he wants.
