Jemele Hill Is Not Thrilled That The 49ers Drafted Nick Bosa

Jemele Hill on ESPN explaining her point.

Former ESPN anchor Jemele Hill, who is now a writer for The Atlantic and hosts her own podcast, is a lifelong San Francisco 49ers fan. She does not seem to be thrilled with the direction her favorite club went during the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night.

The 49ers, as projected, took former Ohio State star defensive end Nick Bosa, who many believed was the best player in the draft. But it isn't Bosa's physical ability that upsets Hill.

While Bosa was in college, he posted a number of pro-Trump and anti-Colin Kaepernick tweets. His Instagram account has also recently come under fire - as some allege it shows racism and homophobia.

Bosa later deleted a number of his comments, telling ESPN that he "had to" because there was a chance he could wind up in San Francisco. Hill called him out afterwards:

Here's how Hill reacted to the news that the 49ers drafted him at No. 2 overall.

It's not a surprise to see Hill taking a strong stance here. In fact, part of the reason she left ESPN was so she could feel free to express herself on social media without worrying about her job.

Regardless, Bosa is a 49er, and he's projected to be a solid pro. We'll see if Hill continues to root for the franchise.
