Today is Jemele Hill's final day at ESPN. Hill and the Worldwide Leader are going their separate ways following her contentious run at the company that saw her openly spar with President Donald Trump.
Hill reportedly reached an agreement on a buyout earlier this summer. She'll make a pretty penny in her exodus from the company.
Hill, according to Bossip, will receive $6 million after signing a multi-year deal with the company in 2016.
Her final day with ESPN has come. Late Thursday night, Hill tweeted out a photo from the film The Shawshank Redemption ahead of her last day.
Jemele reportedly approached management with the idea to part ways. Hill and Kelley L. Carter have a production company in the works, although it's unclear what else she'll work on in the future.
One thing is for sure, Hill is too polarizing to stay a free agent for long. Could a foray into a more political climate be the move for Hill?
