Jeremy Lin has been playing in the NBA for a decade, but the 31-year-old point guard will be playing elsewhere in 2019-20.

The California native has announced that he'll be playing in China during the 2019-20 season.

Lin, who spent the 2018-19 season with the Hawks and Raptors, has a large fan base in Asia.

The veteran point guard has signed with the Beijing Shougang Ducks to play in the Chinese Basketball Association.

Lin failed to land a suitable NBA free agent deal this summer. He discussed his mental state during a TV appearance in Taiwan.

"In English there's a saying and it says once you hit rock bottom, the only way is up," Lin said to GOOD TV. "But rock bottom just seems to keep getting more and more rock bottom for me. So, free agency has been tough. Because I feel like in some ways the NBA's kind of given up on me."

Lin will now head to play in China, where he should be one of the most-popular players in the league.
