The New York Jets are currently losing to the 0-11 Cincinnati Bengals, 22-6, late in the fourth quarter. The fan base appears to be ready for a coaching change.
Adam Gase is just in Year 1 of his head coaching tenure with the Jets, and ownership has said he’ll be back in 2020, but that’s not stopping fans from calling for a move.
ESPN host Mike Greenberg is an avid Jets fan. He named his pick for the next Jets coach on social media.
“The Jets ownership should be in Ann Arbor today BEGGING Jim Harbaugh to come to New York. And they should leave Adam Gase in Cincinnati,” he wrote.

Harbaugh is wrapping up his fifth season at Michigan. He’s been somewhat successful as the Wolverines’ head coach, but not at the level needed. Harbaugh is now 0-5 against Ohio State following Saturday’s blowout loss.
Michigan reportedly has “no plans” to fire Harbaugh, but it’s possible the head coach could decide to leave for an NFL job.
It’ll certainly be an interesting offseason in Ann Arbor.
