Both Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat have been fined $15,000 each for what the NBA deemed as an "obscene gesture" from Butler during the Heat's Game 5 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

The NBA announced this decision with an official release on Thursday.

Butler, who was sidelined for the closeout game with a knee injury, celebrated a personal 10-0 run from his teammate Max Strus by doing a suggestive hip-thrust maneuver on the Heat bench. The Heat's official account later posted a video of these second-quarter shenanigans on Twitter.

Butler is averaging 30.5 points per game so far in this year's postseason run. The Heat will face off against the winner of the Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors in Round 2.
