Joe Burrow has answered the question directly.

The 2019 Heisman Trophy winner is the expected No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Cincinnati Bengals have the top pick and are projected to take the LSU Tigers star.

Lately, though, there's been some speculation that Burrow might not want to play for the Bengals. Some have suggested that Burrow "pull an Eli Manning" and refuse to go to Cincinnati, which hasn't contended for a Super Bowl in a long time.

Burrow, an Ohio native, recently said that he has "leverage" in the situation. He said that both he and the Bengals have their "process" and need to play it out.

The speculation ended this morning, though. Burrow was asked - directly - at the NFL Combine on Tuesday morning if he would play for the Bengals. He gave a firm answer.

"I’m not going to not play. I’m a ball player. I’m going to show up," he said.

Burrow added that he will play for whoever drafts him. That team, of course, is widely expected to be the Bengals.

So, there you go, Bengals fans. Joe Burrow will be suiting up for Cincinnati in 2020, assuming the franchise drafts him.
