76ers star center Joel Embiid may have sustained an orbital fracture and concussion in the closeout game against the Raptors, but he's reportedly not being ruled out for a return in Round 2.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, "Joel Embiid won’t travel for Games 1 and 2 in Miami, but there’s optimism he could return as soon as either Game 3 or 4 in Philadelphia."

As long as the MVP-candidate can clear the league concussion protocols, it looks like we could get a masked Embiid by the middle of the series. Fans reacted to the update on social media.

"Steal one in Miami, Sixers in SIX. The agenda lives on," tweeted a Philly fan.

"Beautiful news," another said.

"As long as there's no surgery required... there is zero chance Joel Embiid does not play game 3," commented a Philadelphia radio host. "He has put too much into this season to just let it end like this."

"1-1 back in Philly when he returns," commented another Sixers fan.

"We steal one win in Miami and we will be golden."

"We’re about to see some of the funniest shooting splits in NBA history from James Harden," joked another user.

"Sixers have to win one of the first two games to give themselves a chance," tweeted CBS Sports' Michael K-B.

"What Embiid is playing through is wild," laughed a Miami Heat page. Noting, "The Heat gotta take care of business at home."

So you're saying there's a chance...
