Several quarterbacks have been linked to the Miami Dolphins throughout the draft process, including potential top 10 picks Justin Herbert and Tua Tagovailoa. With the NFL Draft still two months away, it appears another quarterback prospect is being linked to the Dolphins. Utah’s Jordan Love is having a great week in Indianapolis.
He’s generated serious buzz over the last few days. Not only does he have all the arm talent necessary to succeed at the next level, he’s coming off a strong performance at the NFL Combine.
Love didn’t finish his collegiate career on the best note – he threw 17 interceptions this past season. However, the talented gunslinger seems to be an option for Miami heading into the draft.
According to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald, the Utah State quarterback is very much in play for the Dolphins. They’d have to select him with one of their three first-round picks, as Love’s stock continues to soar. Miami currently owns the No. 5, 18, and 26 picks in the first round.

Former Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino is also impressed with Jordan Love.
Marino joined Miami’s coaches and scouts for the Senior Bowl. The team hosted Love for a private meeting down in Mobile, Alabama.
Love might need a year to develop in the NFL. If the Dolphins select him in the first round, they can allow him to sit behind Ryan Fitzpatrick for the 2020 season.
Regardless of who Miami selects this April, the franchise desperately needs a new quarterback for the future.
