A key United States women's national team player has reportedly suffered a minor injury and will not be starting against Sweden this afternoon.

USA, which has won its first two World Cup games in blowout fashion, is set to take on Sweden in the final game of group play.

The Americans will reportedly be without Julie Ertz.

Ertz, 27, is arguably the "most indispensable player" for the Americans, according to soccer insider Grant Wahl.

United States and Sweden are set to kick off at 3 p.m. E.T.

The game will be televised on FOX.
