ESPN personality Katie Nolan has been featured more prominently on the network the past few weeks. She’s been a guest on Dan Le Batard’s morning radio show, she’s been featured on Highly Questionable and she’s gearing up for another year of Always Late with Katie Nolan. Apparently, that means she’s had to deal with more negative attention on Twitter.
One Twitter troll, who is clearly seeing things, asked Nolan if she was “forced” to put on weight. He made sure to note that it was “not much” – and that he still “luvs” Nolan. He demanded an answer.
Nolan actually had a fantastic response. She joked that on her trip to Paris, the great food – in this case butter and carbs – put a gun to her head.

For what it’s worth, Nolan does not appear to have gained any weight at all. We have no idea what he’s talking about.

Unfortunately, this is often par for the course when it comes to how women are treated in sports media. With social media as prominent as it is these days, it’s just become more public.
Props to Nolan for addressing it in a perfect way.
