Kawhi Leonard remains unsigned – we think, anyway – as the NBA world waits for the reigning Finals MVP to announce his decision. So far, there have been little details regarding his thought process, and we remain mostly in the dark.
However, a new report suggests that Leonard has actually completed two of his free agency meetings, with a third scheduled for today.
Jordan Schultz, an insider/analyst for ESPN, is reporting that Leonard has completed free agency meetings with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Leonard will reportedly be meeting with the Toronto Raptors later today.
“Kawhi Leonard has completed both his meetings with the Lakers and Clippers, a league source tells ESPN. He is also meeting with the Raptors today. The rest of the basketball world awaits Leonard’s decision…” he reports.

Leonard entered free agency as the top player available coming off of his NBA Finals win over the Golden State Warriors. Basically every other top free agent has already made their decision, with everyone in the basketball community now waiting on Leonard.
It’s unclear at this point who the favorite is for Leonard, though Marc Stein of the New York Times reported earlier today that the Lakers “believe” they’re in the lead following pitches from Magic Johnson and LeBron James.
“The Lakers, as we’ve been saying for more than a week now, believe they are firmly in the lead largely through the recruiting efforts and assurances made on separate fronts from Magic Johnson and LeBron James,” he tweeted.
Toronto, however, also remains extremely confident.
“The Raptors haven’t backed off one centimeter and Drake is said to be mounting his own recruiting campaign on top of whatever the freshly minted champions are doing to convince him to stay,” he added.

Leonard’s decision could come at any time, though some have speculated that it’ll happen on July 4 at the absolute latest.
