The NBA's free agency period kicks off in just a few days, but rumors of potential free agent signings are already running rampant.

Perhaps the biggest free agent on the market is Kevin Durant, despite suffering a torn Achilles during the NBA finals against the Toronto Raptors. Kawhi Leonard is in contention as the best NBA player available as well - after the injury to KD.

On Wednesday, Durant opted out of the final year of his contest with Golden State. As a result, he's an unrestricted free agent and is eligible to sign with any team.

But where will he sign?

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Durant is considering four teams in free agency:

The Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Clippers.

Golden State can offer Durant the most money, but he'll likely receive a max contract from whichever teams he decides to sign with.

The New York Knicks are the most-likely landing spot for Durant if he decides to walk away from Golden State, according to multiple reports.

The star forward will miss the full 2019-20 season as he recovers from the ruptured Achilles injury he suffered in the NBA Finals.
