ESPN’s Lee Corso remains an integral part of College GameDay. The former college football coach turned analyst has been a mainstay in ESPN’s college football coverage for two-plus decades.
At 86, Corso is getting up there in age, but the college football world continues to enjoy seeing the analyst on television every Saturday morning.
There are some critics, of course. ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit clapped back at one on social media this weekend.
“It’s time for a new actor and a new act,” one fan tweeted in response to Herbstreit’s video of Corso interacting with Penn State fans.
Herbstreit did not appreciate the comment.
“Missing the point. Sad. LC is a TREASURE. Should be embarrassed you said this clown,” Herbstreit tweeted.

Most likely agree with Herbstreit. College football fans should continue to cherish seeing Corso on television every Saturday morning.
