Luke Walton has had better days. The Los Angeles Lakers head coach is struggling through a trying season.

There have been rumors that LeBron James and his inner circle want Walton replaced. The team has struggled to achieve consistency and sits at 29-30, 3.5 games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference with just 23 games to go.

The latest loss came last night to the Anthony Davis-less New Orleans Pelicans. New Orleans was able to put up 128 points in a 13-point win over the Lakers in the Big Easy last night.

After the game, Walton reportedly suffered a brief indignity leaving the arena. The team bus apparently left him behind at first.

He wasn't stranded long, and the bus soon doubled back to get him. Still, that's pretty unfortunate.

Walton and the Lakers are running out of time to get things going. They will try to tomorrow night when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies on the road.

After that contest, LA returns home for a pair of games that will be televised nationally on ESPN. They play the Pelicans again on Wednesday and will host the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.
