A tweet from Larry Fitzgerald’s dad, Larry Fitzgerald Sr., is leading to more speculation about the star wide receiver’s future in the National Football League.
The longtime Arizona Cardinals star has yet to announce a decision on his future. The clock is ticking, of course, as we’re already a couple of weeks into training camp.
Earlier this week, a fan asked Fitzgerald’s father, Larry Sr., if he had any news to share regarding his son’s status.
Larry Sr.’s response was cryptic: “You believe in miracles?” he tweeted, sharing a couple of emojis.

What does that mean, exactly?
Fitzgerald Sr. could be implying that it would be a “miracle” for his son to play for the Cardinals this season. Of course, he could also be indicating that the “miracle” will happen.
Regardless, the speculation about Fitzgerald will continue until an official announcement is made.
The Cardinals are scheduled to open the preseason on Friday against the Cowboys. Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. E.T.
Arizona opens the regular season on Sunday, Sept. 12 against the Tennessee Titans. Will the Cardinals have Fitzgerald lined up out wide when Week 1 begins?
