On Friday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers were forced to walk off their home court following a four-game sweep at the hands of the Golden State Warriors. After the game, surprising injury news was revealed.

LeBron James said after the game that he played the final three games of the series with a serious hand injury.

How did he get said injury? Well, he called the bone contusion a "self-inflicted" injury, but a report says he punched the white board in the locker room after a heartbreaking loss in Game 1.

Here's what LeBron had to say about the injury.

It's amazing that LeBron's injury didn't severely impact his performance. The Cleveland Cavaliers star put up a ridiculous NBA Finals stat line, averaging 34 points, 10 assists and 8.5 rebounds a game over the four-game sweep. NBA Insider Sam Amick revealed how the star injured his hand. "The injury was the product of frustration: He punched a white board after Game 1, I’m told," Amick reports.

It's a tough loss for the King. Now all of the attention shifts to whether or not LeBron will stay in Cleveland or head to a different market.

Free agency begins on July 1.
