LeBron James will make a huge decision within the next two days. The Cleveland Cavaliers star will decide whether or not to opt in to the final year of his contract with the Cavs by Friday.
That decision will shape NBA free agency moving forward. While LeBron and his camp have remained mum on his looming free agency decision, it's speculation about where his son will play basketball that has many wondering.
Earlier this month, former NBA star Gary Payton revealed that Bronny had "committed" to playing for Sierra Canyon, a prestigious private high school in the Los Angeles area.
On Wednesday morning, TMZ weighed in on that report, stating Bronny is "likely" to play for Sierra Canyon. However, the report makes an effort to note that it's "not a done deal."
From the report:
Another good sign for Lakers fans --LeBron James' 13-year-old superstar son is very "likely" to enroll at Sierra Canyon School in L.A. ... but our sources say "it's not a done deal."
This is hardly the first story surrounding Bronny's own free agency, and it won't be the last. There's always rampant speculation and rumors during James' offseason, especially when he's a free agent.
Free agency officially begins on July 1. The rumors aren't going away anytime soon.
