LeBron James has taken to Instagram to call out a new report from ESPN about his relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers.
ESPN NBA insider Dave McMenamin suggested earlier this week that LeBron’s trust in the Lakers’ front office has been damaged following everything that’s happened with Magic Johnson, who shockingly resigned earlier this month.
“I think the trust that LeBron James has in the organization has been damaged. Right now it’s a tough bridge that has fallen that’s going to need to be put back together. Whoever’s involved there’s going to have to be an initial thing proven with the coach and free agency,” he said during an appearance on ESPN 710 AM in L.A.
ESPN’s First Take talked about this during this morning’s show.
LeBron, working out from the Lakers’ facility, decided to post a video about it.
“That. Is. Not. True,” LeBron said. “It’s not true at all. I’m actually at the Lakers’ facility right now.”

The Lakers do have a lot of work ahead of them this summer, from hiring a new head coach, to finding stability in the front office to attempting to lure another star player to Los Angeles.
The iconic NBA franchise doesn’t appear to need to do anything about its relationship with LeBron, at least.
