LeBron James has taken to social media to react to the Los Angeles Lakers trade for New Orleans Pelicans All-Star big man Anthony Davis.

The Lakers and the Pelicans, who had been talking about an Anthony Davis trade for months, finally agreed on one late on Saturday evening.

New Orleans is getting a haul from Los Angeles that includes Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and several draft picks, including the No. 4 overall pick in this year's draft. Full details of the trade can be seen here.

LeBron is a fan of the move, as he finally as a star running mate in Los Angeles.

The Lakers star, who's heading into the second year of his contract, took to Instagram to welcome Davis to the team.

"AD on da way!! @antdavis23. Let’s get it bro! Just the beginning.. #LakeShow," he wrote.

There could be a third star heading to Los Angeles, too, as the Lakers still have cap space for another max free agent.

Reports suggest that Kemba Walker will be a target for the Lakers in free agency.

NBA free agency is set to begin on Sunday, June 30.
