LeBron James got the best Father's Day present he could ask for on Saturday evening, as the father of three learned his Los Angeles Lakers had traded for New Orleans Pelicans star forward Anthony Davis.

The three-time NBA champion now has a running mate in Southern California. The Lakers have already been listed as the favorite to win the 2020 championship as a result.

LeBron, a father of three, got another Father's Day present this afternoon - some alone time in the gym.

The Lakers star forward took to his Instagram Story to reveal how he was spending part of his day.

"What do I want for Father's Day?" he asked "My answer," he wrote, posting a picture of the Lakers practice facility.

LeBron and the Lakers likely aren't done making moves this summer, either.

It's unclear how much exact cap space the Lakers will have - recent reports suggest it won't be enough for a full max contract - but Los Angeles has room to add some more pieces.

With the Warriors dealing with injuries to Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, the Western Conference should be wide open in 2019-20.

The Lakers seem ready to pounce.
