A retired NFL player and former Crimson Tide standout took to Twitter this weekend to plead for help in a lengthy rant.

LeRon McClain, who retired in 2013 following a seven-year career at fullback, says his head is messed up.

“I have to get my head checked,” McClain tweeted on Saturday morning “Playing fullback since high school. Its takes too (expletive) much to do anything. My brain is (expletive) tired…. @NFL i need some help with this shyt. Dark times and its showing. (Expletive) help me please!! They dont care I had to get lawyers man! … Like im mad im pissed im crying im upset im a (expletive) mess!!!! Please man.”

McClain continued with more on Twitter:

McClain ended with a more positive message:

McClain, 34, was a fourth-round pick out of Alabama in 2007. He played for the Ravens from 2007-10, the Chiefs in 2011 and the Chargers from 2012-13.

The former Alabama standout was a two-time Pro Bowler in Baltimore and a two-time All-Pro in Baltimore.

McClain totaled 1,310 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns and had 557 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Hopefully the former fullback can get the help he needs.
