There are currently two Ball brothers in the NBA – Lonzo on the Chicago Bulls and LaMelo on the Charlotte Hornets. Could we soon have three, though?
LiAngelo Ball is playing for the Hornets Summer League team. He made his debut on Sunday and it was a good one.
The middle Ball brother knocked down five 3-pointers in his Summer League debut for the Hornets on Sunday evening. From CBS Sports:
The middle brother of the trio, LiAngelo, is playing for the Hornets at Las Vegas Summer League. He made the most of that opportunity in his debut on Sunday, as he poured in five 3-pointers and finished with 16 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 16 minutes. His five 3s were more than the rest of the team made combined (three).
The NBA world had major praise for LiAngelo on Sunday night.

Of course, LaVar Ball was having a lot of fun watching his son, too.

It’s only Summer League, but LiAngelo Ball made a very strong first impression with the Hornets. It’ll be fun to watch him the rest of the way.
