Former NFL quarterback Eli Manning is hopping on the bandwagon to cheer on this year's college basketball Cinderella team.

Manning revealed on Thursday that he'll be rooting for the Saint Peter's Peacocks for the rest of the 2022 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

Saint Peter's entered the tournament as a No. 15 seed. The Peacocks shocked the college basketball world when they upset No. 2 seed Kentucky in the First Round. They didn't stop there, though. St. Peter's went on to beat No. 7 seed Murray State in the Second Round.

What's next for the Peacocks? A date with No. 3 Purdue in the Sweet 16 on Friday evening. We know who Eli Manning will be rooting for.

"What? I have been cheering for Saint Peter’s for years. They are my local New Jersey basketball team. Go Peacocks!!" Manning said on Twitter.

Bandwagon or not, that's pretty cool of Eli Manning. And there's no doubt the Peacocks are loving the publicity.

Saint Peter's no doubt wants to continue its magical run, though. No 15 seed has ever advanced to the Elite Eight. Can the Peacocks be the first?

The Sweet 16 begins on Thursday afternoon with Arkansas vs. Gonzaga. Other games today includes Michigan vs. Villanova, Texas Tech vs. Duke and Houston vs. Arizona.
