The USFL isn't exactly where it'd like to be in terms of fan engagement.

At Saturday's Week 2 matchup between the Pittsburgh Maulers and Philadelphia Stars, there are virtually no fans in the stands.

Take a look at lackluster crowd here:

Attendance was also lacking for last Sunday's triple-header in Birmingham, Alabama. The combination of bad weather, no home teams and Easter Sunday gave the league some excuses for the poor crowd numbers, but today's turnout is slightly more concerning. As a cost-cutting measure, all games are being held in Birmingham. So far, the best crowd numbers by far came during the home-team Stallions' season opener last Saturday night. The Stallions will face off against the Houston Gamblers in another primetime matchup later this evening.

The USFL is no doubt keeping a close eye on fan attendance and TV ratings as they look to get the league back on its feet.
