Joel Embiid's thumb injury couldn't have been feeling any better after Raptors forward Thaddeus Young made the All-NBA center touch earth Saturday afternoon.

Young hasn't been getting a ton of minutes in this series. But, he certainly made the most of them in Game 4, dropping the MVP-candidate with a little behind-the-back dribble into a stepback for two.

You just knew Joel Embiid was going to hear about this on NBA Twitter. "A clear slip," a Sixers fan said with a skull emoji.

"We have shooters everywhere in these playoffs," tweeted Young's alma mater Georgia Tech.

"Whatcha gonna do old man? The old man:"

"I'm dying," a Raptors fan replied. "Embiid needs to retire after this."

"Morey working OT to get this scrubbed from the internet," said another user of Joel Embiid's fall.

"Not my MVP!!!" commented another fan.

"This is so beautiful *chef’s kiss.*"

"Why did that Leafs fan behind the Raps bench look sad????" another asked after seeing Young drop Embiid.

"Color me SHOCKED that Thaddeus finished this play."

"They always tell me he’s an elite defender," laughed a Pelicans fan about Joel Embiid.

A number of players were caught slipping on Scotiabank Arena's floor; and Joel Embiid's squad still owns a 3-0 lead so at least he can take solace in that.
