North Carolina basketball star Armando Bacot is reportedly set to guest star on Season 3 of the popular Netflix show "Outer Banks."
The senior big man shared photos and videos of he and the cast on set in Charleston on Wednesday.
Bacot will reportedly appear in a few episodes as a character named "Mando," per Tar Heels insider Ross Martin of InsideCarolina.
"Outer Banks" is an action/adventure series set on the beaches of North Carolina (though filmed in Charleston). One of the show's co-creators, Josh Pate, graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1992.
Just last month, Bacot announced his decision to return to Chapel Hill for his senior season with the Tar Heels. This past season, he dominated down low for first-year head coach Hubert Davis -- setting the ACC single-season record for double-doubles (31) and tying the NCAA record set by David Robinson in 1985-86.
Bacot finished his junior season averaging 16.3 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. On the Tar Heels' improbable National Championship run, he became the first player in NCAA history log six double-doubles in one tournament appearance.
In addition to starring on the big screen, Bacot will look to star on the hardwood yet again in 2022-23.
