Not only are the Utah Jazz trailing 2-1 in their first-round series against the Dallas Mavericks, they may have to face Luka Doncic in Game 4.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski recently announced that ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski: “Increasing Optimism” Luka Doncic Will Play In Game 4

">there's "increasing optimism" that Doncic will play this Saturday afternoon against the Jazz. The plan is apparently for him to be on a minutes restriction.

A calf strain has kept Doncic off the court for the first three games of the Jazz-Mavericks series. Now that he's inching closer to his return, the NBA world is excited to see what he'll do on the big stage.

"Luka might not cook in those limited minutes (or maybe he will who knows), but it’s good to see him back on the court," a Mavericks fan tweeted.

Though the current plan is for Doncic to play limited minutes, NBA fans are confident he'll give the Mavericks a boost in this series. "Limited is fine," an NBA fan said. "Utah still hasn't figured out the rest of the Dallas roster."

"Jazz are finished," another fan wrote.

Over the past few seasons, Doncic has proven that he elevates his game in the playoffs. Since 2020, he's averaging 33.5 points per game in the postseason.

We'll see if Doncic can continue his postseason dominance this year.
