The United States women's national team squeaked by Spain in the Round of 16 at the World Cup in France this afternoon, winning 2-1 on two penalty kick goals by Megan Rapinoe.
Next up for the Americans: the host country.
France, seen by some as USA's biggest competition in this World Cup, awaits in the Round of Eight for Jill Ellis' squad.
Rapinoe is pretty pumped.
The leader of the USWNT issued a strong message to everyone ahead of Friday afternoon's hyped up matchup.
"I hope it's huge and crazy, that's what it should be," she told reporters after today's win. "This is the best game. This is what everyone wanted."
The United States will enter Friday afternoon's game as the favorite, though the Americans are going to be tested in a big way.
USA and France are set to kick off at 3 p.m. E.T.
The game will be on FOX.
