After tearing his ACL in Week 17, it looks like Cowboys wideout Michael Gallup will miss at least a few games to start the 2022 season.

Per Cowboys writer Clarence Hill Jr., "Cowboys VP Stephen Jones said receiver Michael Gallup could miss two or three games at the beginning of the season."

This was certainly a fear fans, as well as the team, had when Gallup went down so late in the year last season. With a brand-new five-year, $62.5 million deal, and Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson out of the building; this is the last thing anybody in Dallas wanted to hear. "Look for the Cowboys to draft a receiver in the first or second round of the draft," Hill added. "It is a huge need."

"That's fine we still got Amar— oh wait..."

"Pain," replied an SB Nation Cowboys writer.

"So instead of solidifying your WR core during FA, let’s go spend a high pick again on WR," a frustrated Dallas fan commented. "Solid team building here."

"In Cowboys terms this means week 6-8 depending on the time of the bye week," another user said of Michael Gallup's timeline.

The Cowboys rough offseason continues.
