It’s officially been more than a year since Mike Golic hosted his final show for ESPN Radio.
The legendary sports radio host is no longer with the Worldwide Leader. Golic hosted his final radio show last summer and stuck with the network through the calendar year. The former NFL player worked as a college football analyst for his final months.
Golic has since moved on, setting up new gigs. He will work again as a college football announcer this fall, calling games for Learfield IMG.
Still, it’s pretty crazy to think that it’s been more than a year since Golic was on ESPN Radio airwaves. He had a two-word reaction to the anniversary on Friday.
“That’s wild,” he wrote.

ESPN Radio has since undergone major changes. Many fans are not happy with the Golic ousting or the new setup.
“Haven’t listened to ESPN radio since,” one fan wrote.
“I haven’t either! Mike & Mike was the best start to my day,” another fan wrote.
“That is crazy, and I’m crying all over again. Really miss the Golic Family Podcast. Mike have you announced what’s next?” one fan wrote.
Fans interested in listening to Golic will be able to hear him calling college football games for Learfield IMG. He will be part of a weekly college football broadcast with Kate Scott.
