Washington State head coach Mike Leach is known for speaking his mind and the veteran college football coach certainly did that on Saturday night.

The Cougars fell to Utah, 38-13, dropping to 3-2 on the season.

Leach had some strong words for his players following the loss.

Washington State's head coach accused his players of buying into their own hype.

“We’re a very soft team, you know, we get a lot of good press, we like to read it a lot, we like to pat ourselves on the back,” Leach said, via 247Sports. “And you know, if we get any resistance, we fold. And what’s amazing about this is most of these guys were on the same team last year, and that was a tough team for us. We got nearly the same guys and all of a sudden they’re not tough, you know, they’re fat, dumb, happy and entitled.”

That's quite a postgame quote.

Washington State will look to rebound in Week 7, when the Cougars take on Arizona State.
