Rose finished the 2018-19 season on the bench for the Minnesota Timberwolves after suffering an elbow injury. He had surgery to remove bone chips from the elbow after putting together a solid season.
The former No. 1 overall pick racked up 18 points and 4.3 assists per game with the Wolves this season. Rose played in 51 games for Minnesota this season and spent the majority of those coming off the bench.
He recorded a 50-point game in what was the highlight of the season for the former NBA MVP.
Now it looks like he’ll be headed to the Pistons where he can play a veteran role.
Stay tuned for the latest NBA free agency news and an official announcement on Rose’s destination.
