The Denver Nuggets were able to stave off elimination Sunday, keeping their season alive with a thrilling 126-121 win over the Warriors in Game 4.

Denver avoided the sweep thanks to an MVP-like performance from center Nikola Jokic; and some major contributions from players like Monte Morris, Aaron Gordon and the young Bones Hyland.

The basketball world reacted to the Nuggets huge win to avoid the sweep. "Nikola Jokic had his 8th career playoff game with 35 points, 5 rebounds & 5 assists," tweeted ESPN Stats & Info. "All other [Nuggets] have 7 combined in franchise history."

"This guy lucky Nuggets pulled it out," laughed Robert Littal. "He would have been on every show tomorrow."

"The [Nuggets] to everyone who thought they'd get swept:" said FanDuel.

"I’ll give the Nuggets credit. They have pride," tweeted Barstool's Big Cat. "Also will be hilarious that the Nets will be the only team swept in the first round."

"[Nuggets down] 1-3. Congratulations to them for advancing to the second round," StatMuse remarked.

"Down 3-1?" the Nuggets official handle asked. "Been here before..."

"Jokic knew the out of bounds play the Warriors were gonna run," noted one fan. "He said 'LOB' and they [deflected] the pass. WOW!!"

"Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets survive. Not doing down without a fight."

What a game in Mile High.
