The Auburn Tigers shocked the college basketball world when they dismantled the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Sweet 16.

After taking a 41-39 lead into the half, the Tigers dominated the second half en route to a 97-80 win over Roy Williams and the Tar Heels.

Unfortunately for the Tigers, the win came with a price. Star forward Chuma Okeke suffered what appeared to be a significant knee injury in the second half.

As he drove to the basket, Okeke's left leg buckled underneath him. After the game, head coach Bruce Pearl said he thinks the injury is serious - though he made sure to note they don't know the extent of the injury just yet.

While the injury is devastating, the team came together in the locker room for a heartwarming moment.

Okeke's teammates helped him put Auburn's name into the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament bracket.

Check it out.

What an incredible moment for a team that wasn't even supposed to be in the Elite Eight to begin with.

After winning the SEC Tournament, the Tigers squeaked past New Mexico State and dominated Kansas en route to the Sweet 16.

Now they're waiting for the winner of the Kentucky-Houston game on TBS.
