Game 3 of the Philadelphia 76ers-Brooklyn Nets first round playoff series is set for Thursday evening.

Ahead of the pivotal Game 3 matchup, with the series tied at 1-1, Nets veteran Jared Dudley had a brutally honest statement about the Sixers' star guard, Ben Simmons.

Simmons' struggles in the halfcourt are well-known and Dudley wasn't afraid to mention them.

"Ben Simmons is a great player in transition. And once you get him into halfcourt, he's average," he told reporters.

It's rare to see an NBA player be so honest about an opponent.

Dudley is absolutely correct, though.

Simmons is one of the scariest transition players in the NBA, though his complete inability to shoot has hurt him greatly in the halfcourt.

The Australia native did have a great Game 2, however, scoring 18 points, dishing out 12 assists and grabbing 10 rebounds in the win.

Tipoff for Game 3 is set for 8 p.m. E.T. on Thursday.
