The New York Knicks had it all going for them. After finishing the season with the worst record in the NBA, the Knicks were primed to land Zion Williamson and two elite players in free agency.

However, after the draft lottery netted New York the No. 3 pick, it all started to go wrong for the Knicks.

Then reports of Kyrie Irving's interest in the Brooklyn Nets emerged.

According to multiple reports, including one from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Irving is very interested in signing with the Nets.

Now a new report from Ian Begley of SNY reveals other NBA teams now believe the Nets are the "odds-on" favorite to land Kyrie.

From the report:

People around Irving said recently that he hadn't ruled out any potential suitors - including the Knicks - but that the probability of the point guard returning to Boston was 'low,' per SNY sources.

Other teams with interest in Irving are operating as if Brooklyn is the odds-on favorite to land him at this point, per sources.

Irving's time as a member of the Boston Celtics appears to be over. Although general manager Danny Ainge said Kyrie gave him no indication Irving planned to leave, the reports all suggest otherwise.

If Kyrie leaves, the Nets are now the most-likely destination.

Stay tuned.
